The panel detail is in the glass. Hull plating and greebles are moulded into the body. Nothing is a sticker, so nothing peels or scratches off.
The whiskey does the colouring. Clear borosilicate means the spirit behind the panelling is what you see, and the level dropping changes the whole look.
High borosilicate, not soda-lime. Thicker-walled and steadier through a temperature change than ordinary bottle glass — sensible on a piece with this much moulded relief.
