Twenty feet of flame-flicker Edison bulbs on heavy weatherproof cable, running entirely off their own solar panel. The 19.7ft / 6m strand carries 10 shatterproof teardrop bulbs at 50cm spacing, each in a chunky moulded weatherproof socket with its own hanging loop. A 4.5V 1.2W polycrystalline solar panel hangs on a wall hook or pushes into a border on its ground stake, on five feet of lead, and charges a 1200mAh lithium battery: six to eight hours of sun gives about eight hours of light. It switches itself on at dusk and off again at dawn. IP44 rated, frost and heat resistant, so it can stay outside through the season. No plug, no outlet and no wiring.
